On October 7, an unspeakable act of terrorism shook the world, leaving many in profound grief. The tragic events deeply impacted countless individuals, each connected to Israel through family, friends, colleagues, or neighbors. In the face of such sorrow, many have sought ways to support the people of Israel. In response to this crisis, we have engaged in various initiatives to offer aid. Contributions from generous donors have enabled us to:
- Distribute toys to children from affected families.
- Support the Sderot program through the RJCF.
- Sponsor a day at Shaloh House for girls from Israel.
- Partner with The Jerusalem Association for Holocaust Survivors to provide small gifts—tokens of appreciation—to the younger members of the organization, who are dedicated to supporting the senior members.
Russian attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure have resulted in widespread power outages, leaving many homes and even entire villages without electricity. In response, we have launched a solar light distribution initiative. While these lights will not restore illumination, they offer some support, helping people navigate through the night.
